The Maine Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Williams as its new Executive Director. Jennifer (Jenn) Williams brings a variety of personal and professional experiences to this role. She is a brain injury survivor, speaker, and advocate. She serves on the Brain Injury Association of America- Maine Chapter Advisory Board, teaches self-advocacy techniques to brain injury survivors in Maine and New Hampshire, and was previously involved with the Maine Acquired Brain Injury Advisory Council. Jenn is a Maine native who truly understands that Maine is often on the forefront of change. She believes in the potential of Maine SILC to not only grow and thrive but become a role model for Independent Living.
