Public Hearings & Forums

Each year the SRC, in conjunction with DBVI, holds public hearings in order to elicit input for the state plan concerning the development and delivery of Maine’s blindness services. The participation and input from others, especially individual blind citizens of Maine, is essential for the development of quality programs and the effective delivery of services. For those unable to travel to a hearing or forum, a conference phone number and code can be provided as an alternative way to attend and participate. For more information about dialing in, send email to info@maine-src-dbvi.org.
