The American Council of the Blind of Maine (ACB Maine) is excited to open the 2024 scholarship application process.
A scholarship will be awarded to one or more individuals with a combined total not to exceed $1,500.00. Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ACB Maine scholarship:
1. The applicant must be blind or visually impaired.
2. The applicant must be a resident of the state of Maine.
3. The applicant must currently be enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
4. Scholarship applicants must download and complete the ACB of Maine scholarship application, and email the completed application to the ACB Maine Board of Directors at acbmaine64@gmail.com.
Recipients of the scholarship will be announced during the annual convention in November (date to be announced). The ACB main scholarship committee looks forward to reviewing all applications submitted on or before September 30, 2024.
